Opening in the midst of a global pandemic is scary, but we at Davis Feliz Salon are doing everything we can to keep you as well as our team safe when we open. There are many procedures set by the State of Connecticut, the CDC, and of course things we have put in place ourselves to follow. What we ask of you: 

• Everyone must wear masks at all times. 
• Everyone must have their temperature checked upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature above 99F will be sent home until there is no evidence of fever or Covid-19 symptoms.
• Please stay home if you are feeling ill. If you have had a cough or fever, have been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days, or are living with anyone who is sick or quarantined we ask that you please stay home and wait to schedule your appointment until you have been cleared by a doctor. 
• Everyone should wait outside of the salon, in their vehicle or a safe location, and check-in by calling 203-861-6700. We will let you know when it’s time to come in.
• Only clients receiving services or making a purchase will be allowed in the salon. Please do not bring guests with you.  
• Practice safe social distancing and remain at least 6ft away from others, with the exception of your technician who is providing your service. 
• Please avoid picking through the retail products. We are happy to help you pick out the products and help with any questions you may have. 

What we are doing:

• All employees who have had a cough or fever, have been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days, or are living with anyone who is sick or quarantined are asked to stay home until cleared by a doctor. 
• All employees will have their temperature checked each morning. Anyone with a temperature above 99F must be sent home until there is no evidence of fever or Covid-19 symptoms.
• Technicians will wear state mandated protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, and smocks. 
• All of our stations, tools, and chairs will be cleaned and properly disinfected using EPA registered solutions and appropriate contact times between each client. Other surfaces will be continuously disinfected throughout the day as well.
• There is a limit of 10 people in the building at all times, including both employees and clients. 
• Hand sanitizer will be readily available at each station, the front desk, and shampoo station. 
• All unnecessary items such as magazines, newspapers, service menus, as well as our beverage service has been discontinued.  
• We are accepting bookings ahead of time by email at booking@davisfelizsalon.com, phone at 203-861-6700 or online. We will not be accepting walk-ins at this time to ensure we don’t exceed our capacity. 

We understand that some of these measures may seem to be an inconvenience, but because we value each of you and our team it is imperative we follow all of the guidelines. We’re in this together! Thank you for your cooperation.
