Our teamwork is both unique and unparalleled and we are privileged to work alongside these amazing individuals. While the last several months has been a time of discovery and change, we are excited that this has led us to truly knowing who we are, who we want to be, and this has paved the way for exponential growth! 

That being said… WE ARE HIRING! We are looking to fill three positions within the salon, including a Guest Service Representative, Stylist, and Colorist.

GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

The Guest Service Representative must have a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, knowledgeable in communications, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-end, luxury environment. He/She is responsible for establishing the friendliness and professionalism of the salon by handling overall front desk operations, guest communications in person, by email or phone, scheduling appointments, ensuring guest requests and considerations, and maintaining day to day operations of the salon. This position has the opportunity to grow into a management role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional, professional, and courteous customer service both in person and on the phone.
  • Use the computer system to book appointments, manage schedules, services, guests, and process payments for services.
  • Assist with the flow and tidiness of the salon floor, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate inventory counts and place orders for necessarily operational supplies.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach, including social media, eblast platforms, google business, etc.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Must be proficient with most computer systems.
  • Experience in the salon industry is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Hourly salary

STYLIST

A Stylist must have a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, knowledgeable in hairdressing, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-end, luxury environment. He/She must keep up with the latest trends, styles, and styling techniques. A Stylist is responsible for providing exceptional, detailed, and precise haircuts and blowout styles, as well as building genuine, positive guest relationships within the salon. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional, professional, and friendly service to all guests.
  • Demonstrate outstanding technical skills, including precision cutting, layering techniques, and luxury blowouts. 
  • Grow your client base by various means, including a professional social media page and contributing to salon marketing efforts (blog posts, editorials, etc.).
  • Participate in classes and continued education opportunities within the salon. 
  • Competently use the online booking system to navigate bookings and schedule. 
  • Assist with the flow and tidiness of the salon floor, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience on the floor as a Stylist.
  • Must be motivated and willing to grow professionally.
  • Must have a valid CT Hairdressing/Cosmetology License.

Compensation:

  • Commission based pay
  • Ample paid time off

COLORIST

A Colorist must have a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, knowledgeable in hairdressing, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-end, luxury environment. He/She must keep up with the latest trends, styles, and coloring techniques. A Colorist is responsible for providing exceptional, detailed, and custom color applications, as well as building genuine, positive guest relationships within the salon. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional, professional, and friendly service to all guests.
  • Demonstrate outstanding technical skills, including balayage techniques, color theory, and precise color placement. 
  • Grow your client base by various means, including a professional social media page and contributing to salon marketing efforts (blog posts, editorials, etc.).
  • Participate in classes and continued education opportunities within the salon. 
  • Competently use the online booking system to navigate bookings and schedule. 
  • Assist with the flow and tidiness of the salon floor, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience on the floor as a Colorist.
  • Must be motivated and willing to grow professionally.
  • Must have a valid CT Hairdressing/Cosmetology License

Compensation:

  • Commission based pay
  • Ample paid time off
  • Ample benefits offerings

 

All Part-Time Employees (31 hours/week or less) are eligible for 401K benefits and some Paid Time Off. 

All Full-Time Employees (32 hours/week or greater) are eligible for a full range of benefits, including Health, Vision, and Dental insurance,  Life and Disability Insurance, 401K, and ample Paid Time Off.
